Morning Star Center specializes in diagnosis, consultation, care and early detection, early intervention for children with autism. The Center built up a group of high – quality and experienced teachers and experts. Besides providing such services, the center has been expending and developing other services to raise the revenue for improving facilities including the service of training the teachers of the partner organization for children with autism. 

The Morning Star Center is the creditable organization that many international students and volunteer choose as a place for them to carry out their volunteer activities, internship programs, research activities and to share experience; to get training and enhance their competence. The domestic and international volunteer organizations also highly evaluated Morning Star Center and chose the center to send their international students to implement their internship programs. 

On the occasion of upcoming mid-autumn festival, Morning Star Center organized a picnic for the children with mental retardation and autism to visit museum, park, leisure center. Especially, the center  provided lessons of living skills with the topic of making moon cake to enrich the experience for children at the center.

Recognizing the importance of music therapy for autistic children, the Morning Star Center held a training course for staffs on music therapy so that the teachers could grasp necessary skills of this therapy. The training course was instructed by Mrs. Jodi Pafford, an American expert from GVI organization. 

Previously, in 2012, the center welcomed Mrs. Bethsmat, the expert of therapy activities from United Kingdom in 2014 working as a volunteer for one year and Mrs. Madeline Entwistle, the expert of therapy activities from Australia working as a volunteer for 10 months. The two therapists trained the staffs about the therapy activities and relating games so that the teacher could combine the activities of learning with playing, giving children many opportunities to discover the surrounding world and reduce their distraction.
