On February 23rd-24th, 2024, Morning Star Center was honored to welcome Japanese music therapist and university lecturer Oka Hiromi to visit and work with the children and teaching staff. Mrs. Oka belongs to a team of Japanese experts who have long been a familiar guest at Morning Star and visit the center annually. This is the second time she has come to share her experiences with the center's teachers and spend time with the students here.  

The purpose of this training program is to update teachers and speech therapists about new methods that are more effective and suitable for children today. During the training process, the experts came to each class to observe each speech and sensory motor therapist so that they could share feedback and provide practical training to each student on new methods of intervention for children, guiding the integration of appropriate OT activities into the educational program in some classes. In 2015, in the international cooperation program, thanks to the project funding from the Dora Foundation - Switzerland, the first group of 6 Morning Star teachers were directly trained as ESDM therapists from experienced experts from Best Star Clinic in accordance with the training process of MIND Academy, UC Davis. 4 in 6 teachers received international certification after training. On June 10, 2023, there was an exciting and interesting expertise exchange session between a group of 8 French final-year students majoring in speech therapy at Clerment - Ferrand University and all teachers at Morning Star in the center's assembly hall. During the session, they brought to the Center's teachers a lot of new knowledge and new intervention methods in the process of speech therapy for children. Besides, they also provided many examples and lively practice activities to build children's foundational communication skills before moving on to learning spoken language

The regular professional sharing and support program between Morning Star Center and Morning Star Hai Phong Center takes place every year. In the past two years, due to the impact of the COVID pandemic, professional activities have only been supported online. This year, on the occasion of the return to stability and changes in the implementation of some new activities of the Hai Phong center, there was a direct professional support session on May 27, 2022.

After attending a training course at Morning Star Center on speech therapy, many teachers from other provinces return their establishments and apply their learnt knowledge in their daily work effectively, contributing to raising prestige of their establishment Therefore, more parents are confident to take their children to local facilities to access the intervention services instead of sending their children to the centers that are far from their home.

Morning Star Center locating at No. 6 Lane 9 Hoang Dao Thuy, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi is one of the centers providing early detection-early intervention high quality services. The center monthly provided intervention services to nearly 200 children with autism, developmental disabilities

This activity is outlined in the plan of competence improvement for teachers in 2017. In the middle of this August, the centre organised the training course for 11 teachers on the skills of organising the social, sensory routine activities for children aged from 9 months to 3 years old following ESDM.
