From 7 April to 8 April 2018, a group of volunteers from Morning Star center organized a program named “Led by Love 2018” at Tuyen Quang province. This is Morning Star annual charity program In this program, Morning Star volunteers did  not only examine, diagnose and early detect children with autism spectrum disorder and developmental delay, but also gave advices tothe parents and gaveaway the presents to the children at mountainous area. On the occasion of remarking Vietnam Women’s day 20th October, HIWC solemnly held the ceremony of vision award of inspring women which is granted to Doctor Do Thuy Lan, Director of Morning Star Center. Mrs. Sarah Allen, HIWC president represents HIWC to grant this award to Doctor Lan with an aim to recognizing her talent, vision and constribution in the field of early internvention for children with autism.

Recently, Mrs. Khadijah Madihi – Project manager of Key asset – a company of Core Asset Group an international foster care and children’s services provider and Mrs. Siti Durriah Pitchay – Pediatric Physiotherapist and Humanitarian professional paid a working visit to Morning Star Center. 

On 23rd January 2017, Morning Star center gave the certificates of completing the special education basic training course for two trainees from Huong Giang Center of support and early intervention for disabled children (Yen Bai province).

Vietnam Association for Education for all (VAEFA) is a voluntary network including non-governmental organizations, the civil society organizations and individuals in Vietnam working together  for the goal of education for all Vietnamese and protection of rights for children, women, minority groups and other vulnerable groups. 

On the occasion of celebration of Vietnamese women day 20th October, the vision award 2016 for inspiring women was held on 18th October 2016 at Vietnamese Women’s Museum. This is an annual activity of the Hanoi International Women Club with an aim to honoring Vietnamese women who have been making great meaningful contribution to improve the life quality of women, children and vulnerable groups in society. 

In order to ensure safety for all staffs, students of the center and to protect property of the center as well as of the State and people making contribution to enhance security and social order and safety, Morning Star Center in cooperation with local firefighting policemen organized a training course on fire safety for staffs of the center. 

  In the afternoon of 14th September 2016, Morning Star Center and students from National university of Economy and the volunteer group of Hai Duong fellow-townsmen co-held an art performance program for the children with ID and autism of the center.

On the occasion of the traditional mid-autumn festival, Nhi Dong newspaper in partnership with the agency of Central committee of Hochiminh communist youth union and Vietnam exhibition center for art and culture held a charity program named “ dreams in the mid-autumn night festival” for the disabled children needy students in Hanoi. This was the opening program of the festival that was full of special activities bearing deep national identity. The program also created an attractive playground of art and culture for small children.
