On October 5, as scheduled, the male students came to the Center with gifts and warm, sunny smiles to bring to the children who are studying at Morning Star. The children were very happy to play with and receive gifts brought by the students.  

On September 12, 2022, experts from Japan had their first visit to Morning Star Center after 2 years of the COVID-19 pandemic. This was an exchange between the center and experts on special education and early intervention for disabled children in Vietnam - Japan during the more than two years of the COVID-19 epidemic, as well as realistic difficulties in supporting the education of children with disabilities.

At Binh Minh early intervention center located in Son La province, two companies provided 200 gifts valued 60.000.000 VND for children in need and children with disabilities in the province. Besides, Morning Star Center provided them with 3 cartons of milk boxes, cookies and candies, 10 cartons of new clothes and 02 cartons of new shoes, sandals for children, 50 cartons of clothes donated by Morning Star Center’s staff and their friends.

It is said that ESDM, the multiple environment-based method, is the most effective intervention model for children with autism at Morning Star Center. After being applied in group context for 1 year, the model is getting more and more perfect. The center purchased the course book on G-ESDM and got it translated into Vietnamese to become a guiding materials for teachers. Besides, the participation of parents in teaching children at home was encouraged by the center to optimize the intervention outcomes for young learners.

Dated 19 and 20 May, 2018, a group of staffs from Morning Star center, under the lead of Doctor Do Thuy Lan (Director of Morning Star center), successfully organized a training session about therapy methodology, early intervention for delayed speech in kids for the teachers and the students’ parents. At the same time, Morning Star did the test and examination for those kids who have the symptoms of developmental delay and autism spectrum disorder.

From 7 April to 8 April 2018, a group of volunteers from Morning Star center organized a program named “Led by Love 2018” at Tuyen Quang province. This is Morning Star annual charity program In this program, Morning Star volunteers did  not only examine, diagnose and early detect children with autism spectrum disorder and developmental delay, but also gave advices tothe parents and gaveaway the presents to the children at mountainous area. Furthermore, we wish to share as much knowledge as possible with the teachers of provincial center and spread out the message to the society for better understanding about ...

On the occasion of remarking Vietnam Women’s day 20th October, HIWC solemnly held the ceremony of vision award of inspring women which is granted to Doctor Do Thuy Lan, Director of Morning Star Center. Mrs. Sarah Allen, HIWC president represents HIWC to grant this award to Doctor Lan with an aim to recognizing her talent, vision and constribution in the field of early internvention for children with autism.

Recently, Mrs. Khadijah Madihi – Project manager of Key asset – a company of Core Asset Group an international foster care and children’s services provider and Mrs. Siti Durriah Pitchay – Pediatric Physiotherapist and Humanitarian professional paid a working visit to Morning Star Center. 

On 23rd January 2017, Morning Star center gave the certificates of completing the special education basic training course for two trainees from Huong Giang Center of support and early intervention for disabled children (Yen Bai province).
