Vietnam Foundation for Children with Disabilities donated new equipment to Morning Star Center
On the morning of January 22, 2024, Morning Star Center was honored to organized a ceremony to receive funding from the Vietnam Foundation for Children with Disabilities (VN-FCD). Attending the beautiful event were Ms. Do Thi Hue, Standing Deputy Director of VN-FCD; Mr. Dao Vu Thiet, Deputy Secretary General, Head of the Organizing Committee and Mr. Nguyen Huu Tai, Head of the Management Board of Love and Life magazine of Vietnam Relief Association for Handicapped Children (VINARAHC).
Morning Star Center received funding from VN-FCD
Dr. Do Thuy Lan, Director of Morning Star Center and Dr. Tran Van Ly, Deputy Director as well as Morning Star children, teachers and staff were present at the event to receive a donation worth 33,178,000 VND from VN-FCD for the purpose of investing in new equipment at the center, including 3 computer sets and 1 treadmill. These equipment are extremely necessary for the education and rehabilitation of children with disabilities at the center. Thanks to them, the children now have a new computer room to study IT, and the treadmill is being used for the center’s rehab room. The donation will also support the purchase of ingredients for baking and mixology classes for students in life skills classes with career guidance.

The contributions of VN-FCD in particular and the community in general are the motivation for Morning Star students as well as teachers and staff to continue to develop and grow.
